Bill Sterrett is very active in his Northeast Cobb community.
Bill has coached more than 70 youth sports teams. He has enjoyed coaching his 2 sons in many sports including: baseball, football, basketball and golf.
For 8 years, Bill was a volunteer community golf coach for Sprayberry High School, and ran a successful Summer Golf Program in Cobb county.
In 2011, Bill was appointed by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners to Cobb County’s Keep It In Cobb initiative, encouraging businesses, government and individuals in Cobb County to consider local vendors when making purchasing decisions.
Bill is a former President of the East Cobb Business Association and a founding partner of the Coalition of Cobb County Business Associations.
Bill recently facilitated and taught a 1 year “Parenting Teens” class at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church
